"I booked my wife and I in for a 4 days over Christmas. It as a bit last minute and an not normally an eco lodge vacationer. Wow! Awesome spot, great rooms (though, be prepared to use the fans!), excellent food, and fantastic staff. It is a small, 9-10 unit place, with pool, dining, spa, yoga, surfing, paddle boarding, and the beach. The owners, Gary and Dee, met us and settled us into the place and launched us on a paddle board before having to head to Managua for Christmas with their kids....

"This is my second time staying at this beautiful home in San Juan del Sur. My family and I had a great time during our way too short 3 night stay. We loved hanging out by the pool, played table games, read books while relaxing on the hammock, cooked and made awesome memories. "Very safe spot with security all night. In my case the room was very clean. No bugs. Room #6 on the balcony. Very comfortable bed and pillows. I believe the rooms have newly been built so they're modern.theres a restaurant inside so food/drinks are always available. Breakfast was included and also very good. Stayed a Friday and Saturday night. All in all, no complaints 10/10. Will be back there on my next trip! "

"Beautiful place near the ocean & easy access to many restaurants. The pool was clean. The breakfast is good but they should have more selections. It’s very cozy and accommodating. "

"Not on the beach: you walk 100 yards of dirt road to Playa Marsella (not a very good beach but good sunset) Room stripped down basic: mattresses have no box spring. One thin sheet on each bed in diff colors: they were like someone's old sheets. We had only 1'x1/2' window could be opened. AC lost a knob.
