"We've just come back from the villa. 2 families with 3 children aged 9, 9 and 8. The villa is very closed to the beach which is a really long beach (6 kms I believe). Everything in the house was as we were expecting. The resort is very relaxing and family orientated. We felt really safe. Plenty of Chiringuitos to have a tapa and a drink!"

"Property situated in a great location within walking distance of the beach, bars, restaurants and supermarkets. There was air conditioning in 3 rooms and the property was fully equipped with great extras such as beach towels, beach umbrellas and an ice box. Plenty of on street parking outside the property. A new dishwasher had been installed in the kitchen."

"We had a brilliant holiday, the house was perfect for us, with plenty of room for 7 adults and 7 children. The table outside was big enough for us to eat together and the kitchen had everything we needed. The pool was well used and although a bit cold at first it was comfortable to be in. A nice walk down to the beach and lots of places to eat. The hosts were lovely, they stayed in contact via text and were really accommodating. Thank you for having us."

"The villa was exactly as described, close to the village with plenty of bars and restaurants which were still open despite it being late in the season. The villa was well equipped for everything you could want. Pascual and Pillar were very warm, welcoming and friendly. We would return again."

"If you are looking to stay in one of the loveliest homes in a beautiful setting, this is for you. We were treated so well by Sara and Dom. they could not have done enough for us, certainly over and above anything we have experienced before when renting a villa. The historical property is surrounded by Orange and Lemon groves in a peaceful and tranquil setting. We had various grandchildren and family staying a different times and there was something for all ages, ours are between 3 and 23 years....

"Images on VRBO are outdated. Pool and its surrounding area in a poor condition. Suspect there is a leak as water level dropped dramatically during our stay. No cover to put over it at night. Bedrooms and bathrooms clean but kitchen and utensils were dirty. Beds very uncomfortable"

"Absolutely lovely place, house was great, like a show home, had everything you could possibly want, host extremely helpful going above making sure that we were all happy The only down side is the location was a 10 minute drive from the centre and their was a builders yard next to us, so lots of lorries in the mornings"

"You definitely need a car ,it says there is u k tv no there isn’t isn’t I don’t think it’s geared up for out of season let’s quilt covers on the beds but no quilts just a mishmash of blankets. The kitchen is workable but not a full set of any thing ie only two glasses the same and possibly 4 different cutlery types sharp knives that wouldn’t cut butter , I don’t think it’s suitable for younger children as there. are far to many trip and fall hazardeds And last but not least the next door...

"We stayed here with out 2 teenager and had the best time. Elaine was the perfect host and always on call should I need anything. You will need a car as everything is a short drive away but so much to do! We did horse riding, wakeboarding and kayaking in between chilling by the pool. Desert Springs has a club house and the croc bar - both serve yummy food and both have entertainment. Loved our holiday and loved the area! Would highly recommend!!"

"Long awaited holiday (originally planned for 2020). The villa is lovely. Fabulous location with gorgeous views to the sea. Well equipped, choice of terraces to suit the heat/sun and pool to cool down. Loved it, wasn't disappointed in any way and worth the wait."

"Wonderful 8 days at this lovely villa. Initially met by a local Brit who manages the house in a nearby location which was easy to find and so access to the property was very smooth. Ideally laid out for our group of 4 adults and 2 children with plenty of different areas to have our own space if necessary or to all come together. Plenty of equipment in the kitchen but highlight was the amazing pool with diving board which the younger aswell as older kids loved and we all enjoyed the size of it to...

"Superb. By far the best equipped property I have rented (and I have rented a lot). There was nothing we wanted that wasn't there. There are 4 restaurants in the immediate vicinity (we tried 3 which were all very good) with more in San Juan de los Terreros a 45 minute walk away (or an hour or more in 30+ degrees heat!!). The nearest complex pool is only yards away and, as with the villa and the complex grounds is immaculate"

"We’ve just returned from a 10 night stay at Villa Mariana. There was 14 of us in total - 7 adults and 7 kids. The villa was huge - plenty of space for people to have their own time if needs be and the bonus of having 2 kitchens when cooking for 14 people was great. The pool table was a god send.
