"I loved the location of this hotel for entertainment & convenience to our cruise ship terminal. Lots of action @ the T-Mobile area, beautiful water fountain views from our stay on one night & the other night we had a view of the T-Mobile bandstand. We got an early check-in on our cruise return date which was SO appreciated. We enjoyed the beautiful pool."

"The design of the hotel was nice. The staff was was courteous and friendly. Very helpful. The pool was nice with great concierge service. Area has nice restaurants and a great place called Barista Squared with great coffee and breakfast sandwiches. Overall, the hotel was a great experience."

"It was an exceptional stay. The resort offers something for all ages. I was on a trip with just my husband. We booked an Oceanview suite, and I was not disappointed with the view. The rooms are standard, the bed was very comfortable and in the suite everything is available in the kitchen if needed. There are many restaurants to choose from, as you can also go to their sister hotel next door, the Vanderbilt, but the poolside restaurant, Solera, had amazing food. It was the best chicken breast I had by far. The access to the beach is breathtaking. The staff was very helpful. There were reviews about the noise, I will say if you secure a room near the pools or lobby, then yes the noise can be a factor. We were on the other side and heard nothing as we chose the ocean view suite. The lobby does play music and many guests are in the pool late. If you are visiting San Juan and not planning to tour other areas on the island, you do not need a rental car. Ubers are easy to get in San Juan, and many of the tours offer pick-up from the hotel. This resort was exceptional and I would book this location once again and recommend it completely. "

"Only thing I did not like was the shower, old and needed rehab, everything else was great. The lobby has a wow factor along with the pool. You could enjoy a lot at just the hotel including snorkel, paddle boarding, scuba etc And even beach. Then just do other stuff around old San Juan to get a taste of the local environment."
