"Stayed in the cabanas, enjoyed the screened in balcony, great views over town and jungle. Pool and restaurant are fun, good food and drinks, fun vibe. The Cahal Pech ruin next door while small is engaging, lots of rooms and corridors to explore."

"The staff were friendly and accommodating. The room was great. The property's jungle setting and landscaping made me feel like I was in a jungle. And while not a nightly occurrence, having howler monkeys howling the first evening really set the tone to remind me I wasn't in California. A special callout to the staff at Fiona's restaurant, the food was great, but talking with the staff there was super fun. I would recommend Maya Mountain Lodge to anyone and everyone."

"Conveniently located next to Cahal Pech for exploring a Mayan ruin. The cabins are spacious with screened porches to enjoy your morning coffee. The Obsidian restaurant has a great selection of local and typical American dishes. The staff is always friendly and helpful."
