"Lovely property set in the heart of Santana row . Central courtyard a very European feel . The real downside is rather old styled set up in the bathroom . No separate shower , instead shower in the bath with curtain - not ideal or very modern"

"This stay was to allow for us to be close to the 1/2 marathon. The hotel is beautiful, a very unique, older hotel. The check in was seamless and the valets were amazing! The room was small, but laid out well and the ac was perfect for the hot weather. It was a pleasure to have a fridge in the room. I did find morning desk staff to be less friendly than the wonderful afternoon person who checked us in, however, they were efficient. If we get back to San Jose, would definitely stay again."
