"Las villas son hermosas, las vistas impresionantes! Nos encantó. Lo único que quisiera resaltar es que si os quedáis en villa oropendola, tener mucho cuidado si tenéis niños chicos. Para llegar a las villas también es un poco complicado. Es necesario tener vehículo todo terreno. Aparte de eso, todo estuvo genial. Muchas gracias! "

"Staying at the Golden Pineapple villas was the highlight of our trip. Perfect location with walking distance to the waterfall. The drive there is a little steep at times, so just make sure to have a four wheel drive car to get there. The staff were all very friendly, had such great recommendations for getting around and navigating tourist areas of Costa Rica. They were helpful in me trying to practice Spanish and taught us some Spanish phrases used in Costa Rica and taught us about the Costa Rican culture. Very personable staff! Me and my husband were here on our honeymoon and it’s so hard to pick a place in Costa Rica because the options are endless- the Golden Pineapple is a true hidden gem with money very well spent. We had a private pool and bathtub which were both absolutely breathtaking. If you want a quiet, romantic get away and/or love being in nature I Highly highly recommend staying here! When we went to another part of Costa Rica we kept saying we wished we were back at the Golden Pineapple! "

"The home is just beautiful, exactly as pictured and we had a wonderful time. The concierge met us at the home to help us settle in, provided us with immigration letters and great recommendations for activities and a fantastic chef /caterer that we scheduled to prepare us dinner for our wedding anniversary. It was magical.The location was more difficult to get to than we had anticipated, it was over a mile off road and even with a 4x4, it was nerve racking driving up the hill especially in the dark after the few times we went out for dinner. An ATV would have been a better option but we had traveled from San Jose so we could stay at other locations during our trip. However just down the hill from the house was a spectacular waterfall. One other thing we weren’t expecting but were told upon arrival is the likelihood of losing power which happened a few times, however the home has solar panels so a lot of things like lights, fridge etc are still working fine. Lots of easy day excursions and beach options. Would highly recommend to anyone. "

"Our stay at Madreselva was magical. Carolina took care of us like we were family. The house had plenty of room for our group of 9. We were concerned about there not being air conditioning since we are from TX but it wasn’t needed at all. The driveway was long and twisty but 100% worth it for the views. "
