"Beautiful small hotel. We received a nice upgrade without asking for it. The apartments are very comfortable and has complete kitchens. They received us with a bottle of wine and some groceries. The hotel doesn't have a restaurant but there are some options nearby. I would only recommend staying here if you have a car. Good option to stay here and make day trips to different Tuscan towns."

"We had a brilliant stay with communication leading up to the holiday being excellent. Azzurra is such a lovely woman, very helpful and provided a beautiful house for us to stay in with everything you would ever need. Hairdryer, washing machine, dryer, iron & board, everything. Even the coffee capsules for the machine were all included. The house is brilliant, with a large master bedroom, smaller second room and double sofa bed downstairs. The villa was amazing with its history and setting and we loved the beautiful views as we sat on the patio with our wine and cheese. "It is in beautiful location where you can recieve the healing energy of the Toscana countryside. However it's far from Florence, 45 minutes through a long and widing road. Internet and telephone signal is bad and we did't get the code to open the box with the keys on time, we strugeled to find a way to communicate with the staff. "I rarely give a 5 star rating but this property is incredible. When it comes right down to it, people make all the difference. Emanuela was so friendly and accommodating. She was just so happy. She checked on us and helped us with our questions. Beyond that, the apartment is perfect. We so enjoyed our time on the terrace. The building is relatively quiet and we enjoyed watching all the animals living in the apt below us, especially Theo and all the turtles! Highly recommend and we will return....

"We had the most amazing time at Il Poggio! The property is well maintained, Roberta and Marina were incredible, and the location could not be beat. We took day trips (by car) to Siena, Arezzo, Florence, Orvieto, and Montalcino, all of which were easily and quickly accessible. Nice food options and music on specific days Clean Cabins If you have not booked shuttle from the Figline station to this place- you may have a hard time getting a taxi from the station. I recommend to plan ahead for the commute from the train station to this property."
