"I can’t say enough good things about this place. We’ve been raving about it since we left, and will recommend to anyone going to Tuscany (Cortona as a whole, but ESPECIALLY Hotel Italia). We were a pair of 21-year-old girls travelling alone, and the staff made us feel safe, at-home, and empowered to ask questions and get acquainted with the area. The comfy bed, working outlets, and bathroom amenities were a refreshing change coming from Rome. We were in a basic room but still enjoyed our view of the surrounding buildings. The breakfast was lovely, and the view was unmatched. Franz was a fantastic Hotelier, and allowed us to leave our belongings for a while so we could continue to explore after check-out. Overall, this was a fantastic experience and I can’t wait to come back to Hotel Italia again with family or more friends!"
