- 2 large ground-level patios facing the water, equipped with a gas grill and plenty of seating.
- Bright and comfortable living space with flat screen TV.
- Well-appointed kitchen with new stainless steel appliances and everything you need to prepare meals.
- Dining space with glass-top table that seats 4.

Sleeping Arrangements:
- 1 bedroom with king-sized bed.
- 1 bedroom with 1 full bed and 2 twin beds in a bunkbed.

- 1 full bathroom with tub/shower combo.

- Features quartzite countertops, a spacious kitchen island with stool seating, and new stainless steel appliances (fridge, oven/stove top, dishwasher, microwave, and 12-cup coffee maker.)
- Fully stoked with all kitchen wares.
- If you love to cook, bake and entertain like we do, you'll find everything you need and plenty of counter space.

Parking Arrangements:
- This unit comes with an attached 2-car garage.
- An additional car may be parked just outside the garage, parallel to the door.

Toys and Entertainment:
- Stand-up paddle boards.
- 2 Kayaks (shared with other unit-- 1st come, 1st served.)
- Beach toys, body boards, umbrella and beach chairs are provided.
- This unit comes with 4 beach cruiser bicycles to use during your stay (located in garage.)

Additional Amenities:
- All bed linens provided. All bath and beach towels provided.
- FREE washer and dryer for your use.
- We provide all the little things too: paper products for bath and kitchen (paper towels, napkins, toilet paper, Kleenex), bath and hand soap, shampoo, dish soap, laundry soap, zip lock bags, tin foil, and cleaning products.

Please note: The Sandcastle property is a duplex consisting of 2 separate units:
- The listing your currently looking at is SC2 (2 bedroom/2 bathroom), and is located on the ground floor only.
- The middle unit and the penthouse with rooftop spa and elevated dining area is SC4 (4 bedroom/3 bathroom).
- SC4 is a separate property/booking from SC2.
- Each unit has exclusive patios that are NOT shared.

We had an amazing time spending our Christmas holidays at this wonderful beach home in Mission Bay in San Diego. The home is located at a very convenient location close by to the pacific ocean, stores, restaurants, etc. We enjoyed the mission bay views from the beach home and loved getting cozy at nights in front of the fireplace. The beach house provided good amenities and was very comfortable. We highly recommend this rental. We will definitely come back again soon. We enjoyed the mission bay views from the

This spot was the perfect stay for our family of 4. Watched the Sea World fireworks every night, walked and grabbed coffee every morning. We didn't want to leave! The property manager was so easy to communicate with and very helpful. We will stay here again!

Best thing about this place is all the fun toys! Steps from the water and my kids were able to body board and kayak. Responsive management and great to have parking. We walked to a great coffee shop every morning.

I had high expectations and I was not remotely disappointed! Not only is it a nice and comfortable room, the owner's are fantastic! It is conveniently located to everything and a really nice neighborhood. I plan on returning here often!

Family wasn’t able to take a vacation this year so we decided a short trip closer to home would be great. My kids love the beach and this was a great location. Lots of activities, food, and shops nearby. We rented a car but didn’t really need it. Cute place. Well decorated.

My husband and I along with our two college age daughters spent 5 nights at the Sandcastle on the boardwalk. It was a great house and a superb location on the bay. We especially enjoyed the use of the 4 bikes, kayaks, paddleboards, and hanging out on the patio watching the activity. If we needed anything the property manager was close by. High recommend!

Very clean, very friendly helpful 2nd floor residents, the view can't be beat, the deck and hotub were amazing. The area is quiet right on the sand, the busier ocean side of mission beach is a 5 min walk away. Very close to shops and restaurants. Don't miss the Mission for breakfast but know the food is amazing and huge portions.

I had a wonderful time renting this unit. The owner is extremely nice and accommodating and the rooftop deck is the highlight of the rental, which overlooks the bay and is very quiet and relaxing. I rented the room with a friend, but would highly recommend for a couple looking for a getaway. Thanks again for the great experience and hospitality!

Perfect property - it has everything we needed for our family. We really enjoyed the activities available on the bay for our boys, while having the ocean across the street. Easy walk to several great restaurants. Kimberly and Michael are also incredible hosts. They went above and beyond to ensure we enjoyed our stay. Great location on Mission Bay and only a few hundred yards from Mission Beach. The owner was extremely pleasant and easy to work with. The beach cruisers and lounge chairs were ours to use when we wanted. The roof top patio with hot tub has amazing views of the bay and is a great place to relax. There is no kitchen, however, the mini fridge, coffee/tea maker, and microwave were more than enough for what we needed. Plenty of restaurants in walking or biking distance! Highly recommended for a romantic getaway.

downstairs apartment is actually darker than the photos - house on the whole is very cool! And it was clean and comfortable - bathrooms are backwards - the master is so tiny with no room for your stuff - bathroom by the 2nd bedroom is the best part of the house!
