THE SPACE
Please note: We have never had a single issue when staying at Hays Hideaway as owners or with guests. However, like most of San Antonio, our neighborhood is in the process of gentrification.

Our home has 3 king-sized beds (who wants to be crammed in a queen-sized bed anyway?), and four twin beds. An adult living and dining room and a separate kids' hangout and dining area. Our playful space is perfect for kids or adults and is just steps from the family bathroom.

Whether you want to soak your muscles after a day of shopping or enjoy a hot steamy shower first thing in the morning, these bathrooms give you the space and modern amenities to make you feel pampered. We complete all the bathroom essentials and make sure we provide everything you need!

The spacious fully-equipped kitchen features bold white tilework, custom cabinets, and stainless steel appliances. The sleek and stylish kitchen is big enough for multiple guests.

The kitchen flows effortlessly into the dining area. The design gives a sun-filled space to bring everyone together. It’s important for you to get family quality time together while on vacation, you’ll appreciate the formal dining area.

Our guest house offers multiple ways to enjoy the outdoors. The spacious backyard with a fence is perfect for running and playing. The outdoor dining area provides a place to sit, relax, listen to music, play games, eat, and drink surrounded by nature. Provided a hot tub, a fire pit, and games for the whole family.

Gorgeous Updated House

We very much enjoyed our stay!! This place was everything plus more!! We came down to visit during Fiesta week and this was the perfect place to have stayed at!! We definitely will book again in the future!! We highly recommend booking this place as the property is very beautiful, clean and very enjoyable! The property manager is very helpful and responds to any questions etc very promptly!!

Good stay!

The neighborhood was a little sketchy looking, but the owners did make us aware before we went and put our Minds at ease. Did not have any problems with neighbors or anything. House was a great location. Not far from everything we did while there. Inside of house was great. We really enjoyed our stay. Everything we would have needed was there. All in all great stay. And would stay again if we ever went back that way. Owners kept in contact the whole visit and answered any questions I had.

Family trip to San Antonio

We booked the Hays Hideaway for a family trip to San Antonio. Yard needed mowed, there were multiple stray cats at an abandoned house next door. And neighborhood was a little sketchy. Stairs are steep and slick. Highly recommend wearing shoes to walk up and down them. We had one of our kids slip and fall as well as my wife. And she ended up with bruises on her side and up her arm from trying to catch herself. Now, with all of that being said. The neighborhood ended up being ok, the cats next door were an issue but would leave you alone if you came outside. Hot tub and fire pit were a nice addition. You can tell that this unit has been recently remodeled and they had everything we needed. Had a slight issue with the front door lock to get in with our given code, but the owner took quick action and had us in shortly after that. All in all we would stay again. Just be more careful on the steps from upstairs bedrooms.

Nice, roomy house for our group of 10 adults (grandchildren are 18-24). House was pretty chilly for first 24 hours but eventually warmed up, considering extremely cold weather for SA.

Nice property that has all you need.

The house is very nice, very clean. It looks like it has been renovated and it looks very well. It has kitchen and cleaning supplies. It is located at just few min driving from Riverwalk. The property manager or owner is very helpful and responds quickly.
