This lovely Texas farmhouse was perfect for our family to gather for a week around the solar eclipse. There was plenty of room to spread out and we had some lovely times rocking on the back porch, playing horseshoes and enjoying the rural views. Everything about the home was perfect, We are already talking about another visit there.

The best equipped kitchen we all agreed. Beautiful house and loved all the seating choices on porch. Plenty of parking ( we had 5 cars). Quiet hill country site . We enjoyed watching the deer. Loved that it was close to Boerne, but away from people and traffic.

This is the best property! This was the perfect get-away for our family. The house was clean, comfortable, and has the best view. We enjoyed the huge porch while watching the view and deer. We fell in love with the sweet outside cat. The owners are very kind and responsive. We will definitely be back!

We had a lovely two weeks in this very comfortable home. It was very nice and spacious, decorated in elegant Texan way, fully equipped with very comfortable beds. The veranda and outlook across the countryside was delightful. A great place to watch the wildlife. There are lots of things to do in the area and the countryside is beautiful in the spring. The leaflets left in the house were very useful.

Ann was extremely accommodating and available although we never need to contact her. The home is very nice, clean, and comfortable. It is in a setting that gives you peace from the noise of city life and hustle and bustle. Convenient location. We drove to San Antonio one day, drove to Fredericksburg another day, and decided the routes off the highways was very refreshing. The countryside is beautiful.

This house was perfect. Everything was provided and in working order. The location is convenient to downtown Boerne (about 10 minutes away) and to I-10. Beautiful views of ranch land and the wildflowers of spring. Beds were comfortable, living spaces roomy yet cozy. It even came with a set of two cats! Supposedly they are working feral cats, but they were both affectionate and loving! We truly enjoyed our stay and highly recommend this house to everyone.

This home is absolutely magical. The sun rises over a large field, which you can view from the nearly wrap around porch (with ample rocking chairs).Deers and birds are plentiful and feed right in front of you! It's so cool!Ann and Scott were not only warm and welcoming, but generous. Their home is spacious, tidy, and well stocked for larger groups to be able to cook and enjoy the home.I hope to return regularly!!

Loved the setting and decor of the house. Spacious, clean, beautifully decorated house was exactly like the pics. Our daughters had their own room and my husband and I had the master bedroom. The AC kept the house very comfortable. Loved sitting out on the porch feeding and watching the deer. Nice and quiet but close enough to San Antonio to drive in and visit the Pearl and Riverwalk.

This house is so comfortable and inviting! Very well-appointed in every way. The owner is very responsive. Highly recommend this property.The only (tiny) downside was the outside cats. They are very annoying, jump in your lap, etc. But, we finally got a spray bottle of water and that did the trick in keeping them away so we could sit out and enjoy the beautiful scenery and deer that came right up to the house!

This property was perfect for our Girls' Weekend. The check- in process was easy, and our contact, Ann, was very helpful and accommodating. The hosts thought of everything, from the warm welcome snack of locally-made salsa and chips to the quality linens and towels. Wonderfully comfy beds and extra pillows and blankets, too. The gourmet kitchen and well-stocked pantry had everything you could need to prepare meals. We loved the big back porch w/Adirondack rockers and cushioned chairs. It was so relaxing to watch the goats playing across the pasture, deer feeding w/in feet of us, and so many species of birds at the feeders. We watched wild turkeys at sunrise, and enjoyed the owl serenade as the moon rose. Excellent Shopping and dining in Boerne or San Antonio are close by. And while we didn't have time to use the fire pit, I highly recommend you pack the S'mores fixin's. Huge old oaks surround the house, adding even more charm. We highly recommend this property. I can't wait until we can return.

This is our third or fourth year staying here and it was perfect as always! It's very calm and peaceful and Ann is always so helpful and responsive. We've never had anything we needed - kitchen is well stocked and plenty of logs for us to burn! We always talk about how we wish our regular homes were this comfortable and spacious! Thank you for another wonderful weekend! See you next year!
