"Brilliant base from which to explore the forested North of Tenerife, just a short hop from picturesque Puerto de la Cruz and loads of good walks nearby. Good access to the main road by car, after the long switchback, but it was too much/long for a stroll to nearby La Matanza de Acentejo in the heat. Hosts Peter and Martina were friendly, but discreet and I couldn't speak more highly of their helpfulness. We had a fab one week stay."

There is easy access to the major highway system on the Island and easy to access all the areas of Tenerife. Having a dedicated underground parking stall was very helpful. "It was a delight to stay in such a peaceful, secluded location. There is an authentic feel about the place. If you want to see lots of other tourists and enjoy noisy nightlife, this is not the place for you. If you want to relax and feel peaceful, you will love it. It is compact but lovely. If you're looking to stay somewhere away from the city crowd, enjoy the ocean's sound, and are not afraid to walk a ways to your destination, this is the place to stay. "Wir hatten einen wundervollen Aufenthalt in der Unterkunft direkt am Meer. Das einzige was man hörte, war Wellenrauschen. Es war noch besser als erwartet. Der Lavasandstrand ist nur ca. 50 m zu Fuß entfernt und schön zum Baden. Einziges "Manko": Durch die Nähe zum Meer ist es in der Wohnung feucht, einige Metallteile rosten, so sind z.B. die Fenster z.T. schwergängig. Es könnte etwas mehr Besteck und Teller geben. "Uns hat es super gefallen. Dass sich das Haus inmitten einer Siedlung befand, fanden wir sehr charmant. Von der Atmosphäre eigentlich genau das, was wir uns gewünscht haben. "The villa was very spacious. There was more than enough room for our party of 5 adults and 2 kids. We had a beautiful view of the ocean from our roof top verandah. The pool was a plus, wished it was a bit warmer however on the days we used it. We also used the grill outside on a couple of occasions for steak and chicken. Will definitely book this villa again if we return to Tenerife!!"
