Chaweng Garden Beach Resort

"We stayed here in Sept for 6 nights in Garden view double room. Couldn't fault our visit the room was clean, the bed was so comfortable, everything worked, the balcony was a bonus for us. The breakfast was amazing with plenty of choice. We really liked the location, right on the beach which is wonderful but close to the main street in Chaweng. The noise from a nearby late night venue was a worry when we booked but we could hardly hear anything. Lastly all the staff around the resort were perfect, very polite and friendly. Would definitley recommend Chaweng Gardens it is 10/10 from us."

"Truly a tropical gem!! This is my third time on the island but my first time at this hotel. It will definitely be my go to spot going forward. First of all, the place is beautiful, well managed, the property and rooms are kept immaculate. I chose the boutique garden pool room which was super nice. It was very peaceful and having your own private plunge pool to cool off in was a treat that I ended up enjoying more than i expected. I was impressed with how well they maintained it as well. There was an attendant there twice a day to clean the leaves up in the garden area and maintain the pool. The beach and pool are only a few steps away and they too are very well maintained with great staff to greet you and provide cocktails and food. The staff here also made the trip wonderful. They are very kind, hard working, and they do go out of their way to remember your name. Champu in the bar makes great cocktails as well. I hope you enjoy this property as much as we did!!"

"The property was amazing! I got a smart studio, thinking it would be bigger, my mistake. It was still a nice room, kept clean with housekeeping coming by twice daily. The bar was not free, but tea and coffee were. I got the breakfast package, so we ate daily at the restaurant, which was DELICIOUS (try the pood lood!). The beach is just right there, with beach chairs and loungers, plus security 24/7. The manager was very sweet and came by to check on us periodically, making sure we were happy with our stay. They even offered water and snacks for guests lounging by the pool. The market is just outside the property, on the street, with plenty of food, shopping, and activities available in walking distance. I would honestly stay here again, maybe in one of the secret pool villas."

"I stayed in the main building 3rd floor with no elevator - which was unexpected. The bed comfort was decent, the cleaning staff was amazing. The little villas off the main building is probably a better choice. The pool was right off the gulf and easy to walk too. You’re smack in the middle of everything which is great but also means the dance clubs will go all night. Noise machine helps. No need for grab unless you’re doing adventures. Good parking area. Walked to shops, malls, night markets, and bars."

"I have stayed at the Chaweng Regent periodically for 15–20 years. It has an excellent location, a lovely beach and pleasant pools, within easy walking distance of central Chaweng but away from the busiest area. However, service can feel geared towards high-volume package tourism, which is frustrating when paying the full room rate. On this visit, my room was not ready at the advertised check-in time. After I complained, I was given a very comfortable replacement that appeared to have been prepared for honeymoon guests. Having just unpacked, I was then asked to move to my original room. I inspected it but declined: it was in a poor location beside the children’s pool and noticeably inferior. A few days later, the hotel generously upgraded me to an excellent beachfront bungalow, which compensated for the inconvenience. Nevertheless, this was my second stay this year, and rooms within the same category have varied considerably in location, condition and quality. Despite paying the full rate, I was concerned that my original allocation appeared to be one of the least desirable rooms. The facilities and location remain excellent, and this quieter visit was more relaxing than my stay in March. However, the inconsistency between rooms would make me nervous about booking again."

"A gorgeous property close enough to the action, but with enough distance to go into peaceful vacation mode. Would book here everytime. They are family friendly and the kids can be a bit rambunctious in the pool which isn’t huge. The rooms don’t prioritize views too much from what I can see. But the design keeps them cool and private. Whoever designed this place, crushed it. Love everything from the tones and materials to the landscaping."
