Enjoy the scent of rosehips and sea buckthorn on long walks and find your favourite beach. Try the almost seven-kilometre-long beach in Sælvig Bay, where your children can swim really far out at low tide. However, the water is always shallow. Some of the main attractions on charming Samsø are the traditional windmills Kolby Mølle and Brundby Stubmølle, the Falkecenter Samsø in Permelille and the Nordby Bakker moraine landscape. In Nørreskiftegaard you can try your hand at riding Icelandic horses, and the Landkrabber marine project in Ballen offers nature education and maritime activities for the whole family.
