"We stayed for 5 days at the end of July. The house was clean and maintained. Wifi worked well, there was no tv but we didn’t miss it. The location was great, it was right across from the ocean and close to everything we needed. We spent lots of time walking around the water and spent the evenings sitting on the porch listening to the waves. The mosquitoes weren’t bad except for the day we were leaving. "We chose this location by proximity to the lake. It was clean and well appointed and did not disappoint (other than we didn’t catch any fish). Home was well stocked with necessity item including cookware which was important for us as we cooked our own meals. It also had dishwasher and detergent along with washer and dryer and laundry soap. It was a quiet peaceful location and I would definitely stay there again!"

The view and the amenities!!!
"This was a beautiful place to stay for our visit to Cape Breton Island. The view from the house was amazing! We were able to catch both sunrise and sunset while overlooking Bras D'Orr. The hot tub and patio firepit made for a relaxing time. And the privacy was appreciated. One caution is that these are relatively new rentals and while each house is PERFECTLY outfitted, you do drive up a gravel road and driveway with the surrounding land being clear cut for additional cabins. However, once inside and looking out, it is not noticed at all. It is also a bit of a drive if you want to tour the island as we did. This place is best for time hanging out and relaxing. We loved it!"
