"This was a beautiful place to stay for our visit to Cape Breton Island. The view from the house was amazing! We were able to catch both sunrise and sunset while overlooking Bras D'Orr. The hot tub and patio firepit made for a relaxing time. And the privacy was appreciated. One caution is that these are relatively new rentals and while each house is PERFECTLY outfitted, you do drive up a gravel road and driveway with the surrounding land being clear cut for additional cabins. However, once inside and looking out, it is not noticed at all. It is also a bit of a drive if you want to tour the island as we did. This place is best for time hanging out and relaxing. We loved it!"

"We chose this location by proximity to the lake. It was clean and well appointed and did not disappoint (other than we didn’t catch any fish). Home was well stocked with necessity item including cookware which was important for us as we cooked our own meals. It also had dishwasher and detergent along with washer and dryer and laundry soap. It was a quiet peaceful location and I would definitely stay there again!"

"We booked this magical getaway to celebrate our 30th wedding anniversary in Nova Scotia This home was a perfect launching place to explore Cape Breton. Plenty of hiking, beach exploring, swimming, and adventure all within 3 hour's drive. Overlooking Bras d'Or Lake, we enjoyed a peaceful vacation with nighttime views of the Milky Way. While the driveway is steep, it was no problem for our 2-wheel drive Hyundai Elantra. The cabin was very clean and had all of the amenities we needed. Great communication with Leon and a perfect overall experience. Such a lovely place."
