Nice hotel very close to the gondola
Well located for the gondola slopes about 200m from the bulk of the lower level chair lifts. Breakfast pretty extensive although the dinner menu was such that we chose to eat out. It is very accessible to some excellent Bulgarian restaurants, the Green King, Hunters and the Alpin would get my recommendation but of course it depends what you are looking for. Ski equipment can be hired from the shop on the ground floor and there is a 20% discount if you are staying at the hotel Ella, I didn't know that when I booked. The steam room and sauna are good and run from 4-6pm and there is a really extensive gym which I never saw anyone use. Transport to and from Sofia can be organised through the hotel very easily

Great location near ski slopes and Gondola
First room offered wasn’t to our spec request and smelt of cigs so they happily gave us alternative which was good.
Very warm and felt secure
Hotel Ela has authentic feel to it and not overrun by hoards of package holiday skiers.
It’s basic but very conveniently location with ski storage area and breakfast was fine.
