"Lovely hotel. Stayed here 2 nights in their cheapest classic twin room. Room and bathroom newly refurbished and very nice. Great beds, very clean and we really enjoyed breakfast. We ate dinner too and it was great. Staff is lovely and helpful and there’s plenty of space to sit outside with a coffee on the terrace or round the back in their large garden. Would definitely stay again."

"Lovely old hotel in a great location with a Sean view out the front and tram stop virtually on the doorstep. We only stayed b+b but the food we had was really nice. A bit chaotic at breakfast time but it is a large hotel and they do warn you about peak times so you're you know what to expect in advance. The room was comfortable. Nice clean beds and bathroom but there were 2 items of rubbish on the floor (a sweet wrapper and a golden egg from the arcade) which were there for the duration of the stay. However, the staff were lovely, very polite and helpful if needed (we didn't need them but saw other guests that did and they were great with them). I think my only slight criticism would be that you were left waiting at the bar alot. They could see you standing there but carried on cleaning or filling fridges. Don't get me wrong, as someone who has worked in a few bars, I know these things need to be done but if you have people waiting, you either serve them or at least acknowledge them and let them know you will be with them ASAP which they didn't do. Oh and for information, there is parking at the hotel but it is £14 a day and you have to register on the machine at reception and fill in the paperwork too. Anyway, overall, I've left what I think is my honest review. It's a good hotel in a great location and yes, I would absolutely stay here again."
