"Outstanding service and attention to detail from the staff. All staff including the breakfast employees were extremely patient and helpful. We were celebrating my wife’s birthday and received a nice bottle of Prosecco on ice with a happy birthday balloon. She loved it! I have two minor things I’m nitpicking. 1.) I would appreciate a smart TV with modern streaming apps. 2.) The shower set up was a bit odd. The tub had a half glass door that leaked water during showers. Not a deal breaker for us and overall happy with our stay here, will definitely come back. "

"This property is ideal. Close enough to Venice proper, but no need to schlep your luggage around the boats and tiny sidewalks to find a cramped in-air conditioned property in the middle of Venice. Hotel Hampton by Hilton is minutes away from Venice for a 1.50 Euro people mover that is quite close to the lobby. Having the ability to park your car at the hotel is great too. Only advice …. Watch out for the scam artists in Venice…they actually wear the uniform of transit police. Master manipulation of a system that sets you up for failure - no humans at night to sell you a ticket - ticket machines with nonsensical information and graphics - actually overpaid for a waterbus ticket and they wanted to impose a fine of 500% because it was technically for a different route. Insane to be fined like patent and small child jumped the turnstile and didn’t pay with and they’re ready and waiting to capitalize on the scheme. Really disgraceful and the lack of empathy was a blemish on all of humanity. No fault of the hotel and isn’t anything they can do, but word of caution if you go to Venice…"

"The staff was terrific. It is an old monastery from the 19th century that was made into a hotel property so some things about the room you have to accept. It was very European as a hotel, with modern amenities and good internet, quite courtyard. The breakfast 7-10 am was excellent. Location was great, very near restaurants, the water buses/water taxis and on the Grand Canal. I would definitely stay there again!"

"Hotel was in a great location, easy to find and the water taxi stop is 1 minute away. Rooms were very clean and comfortable. The breakfast at the hotel was super delicious. Only downside, is there is no elevator at the property so that might be an issue for some"
