"Very good location near all Saltburn’s attractions, and the station a hundred yards away.The property is fully equipped (except for trays and a cafetière, the most eco-friendly method of making proper coffee), but the decor is quirky and may not be to everyone’s taste.Some rooms, including the kitchen are poorly lit because of small windows and could use better lighting."

"I wouldn't stay here again. WiFi was advertised but there was no WiFi. There was a router that wasn't connected to the internet and another that was connected to a phone socket but just flashed orange when we switched it on. After many messages to what seemed to be a chat bot we called the helpline and we're told the owner couldn't sort it during our stay. "Another great stay at Captain's Deck in Saltburn. We just love the view. A great addition to our last stay is the pool table. Enjoyed little family competitions with that! Wish we could have stayed longer."
