Beautiful old hotel right in the center of town. Excellent room cleaning, very nice staff, wonderful big breakfast and Paulo was very helpful with suggestions on driving to Cafayate and Cachi! Highly recommend.

At the corner of the main plaza in Salta, this is a great location. The hotel is very nice, was comfortable, and the staff was great. Would stay again and recommend this hotel.

Great location in the heart of the city - very close to other hotels, walkable to great restaurants, churches, stores. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and I felt extremely safe even traveling solo for my first time!

Great stay at Hotel Salta, needed a night to recover as a stopover. Really enjoyed reading by the pool and the breakfast was excellent. The staff were friendly and attentive and the room had everything I needed. Loved the classic fitout and the location

Beautiful hotel right in a center of Salta, the historical building is kept in a original style. The staff at reception, also at parking , also in a restaurant at breakfast- all of them very helpful, pleasant attitude. Delicious breakfast with real juice, fresh fruits and mixed eggs possible on request. Absolutely amazing stay in Salta and Salta hotel!

Well kept hotel at great location

Old hotel that’s been kept amazingly well. Extremely clean and very well located. Breakfast items were decent compared to what you’d normally get at other Argentine hotels—they had scrambled eggs and Greek yogurt, which I appreciated. Staff was helpful and friendly. Would recommend and come back if I’m ever in the area

Classic old hotel in town centre

Hotel Salta is a historic hotel built in 1942 with tastefully modernised rooms. Great location on central plaza. Good view from upper rooms of the San Francisco church and hills. Friendly service. Good breakfast included. Nice if a bit cold swimming in a garden setting. Good WiFi.

if you want an excellent base to explore Salta - this hotel is it. Situated off the main square and featuring period decoration this is (in my opinion) one of the best options.i found the staff friendly, the rooms comfortable and the facilities perfect for our work trip. Okay so the pool is a walk across the (small) car park, but otherwise an excellent and relaxing way to enjoy Salta. Go visit!

The hotel has a great location at the corner of Plaza 9 de Julio, rooms are comfortable, staff is friendly and helpful and the free breakfast is generous and delicious. Didn’t have time to use the spa but that’s another perk.
