"For a old style motor hotel right next to Carlsbad Caverns park, it was worth the cost... but that was it. A/C on a hot evening (we stayed July 4th) needed a while to cool the room down, but it was tolerable and we slept fine as the night got on. With a little more TLC and some investment, this place ..."

"The view is spectacular. The salt basin dunes were just 4 miles away. Driving the desert road to the cabin i saw many birds i would not have in a city. The changes in weather allowed me to see mountains in many different ways. I enjoyed the view every morning before heading out to Guadeloupe Mountains ..."
