"Lovely old house, and immediately calming. Such peaceful surroundings-matched by the helpful and welcoming owners and staff. The food was so very good, a gastronomic delight-without any exaggeration! Very reasonably priced, and the wine, some of which was produced in their own vineyard, was just as good. Made use of the stimming pool too, although the weather was exceptionally hot during our visit. A very relaxing few days, mind and body rejuvenated we moved on to a hectic continuing family...

"The castle is in a beautiful spot. Close to the vineyards and Saint-Emilion. We were in France for 12 days and this was our favorite part. The Patio room is absolutely beautiful! "

"We didn’t stay at the property although we had booked it. It was difficult to find and the signage once we did arrive to the correct place was not clear. On. Pointing this out to the owner he took great offence rather than accepting a little feedback. He accused us of not arriving on time, when no time had been agreed, yet we were there at 4:30pm when arrivals were from 3pm.
