"We stayed at Jeff's place for 4 nights. This was a wonderful experience. Everything in Jeff's apartment made sense, was operational and in exactly the right place. Jeff's access instructions were clear and precise, so we did not have any problems getting into the apartment. "This property is in a nice quiet area, but not too far from anywhere. The apartment is very welcoming, and perfect for a large family or group of friends. I'm not sure if it was mentioned the main room has an ensuite, so ample facilities. Only minor negative is they key lockbox was right on the floor. Anyone not flexible may suffer a bit. "

"This was an amazing apartment at such a great spot. The apartment is in a sort of college living area, and had a fullet stove and range, full fridge and freezer, microwave, toaster. We made two full dinners while here, as there's a Sainbury grocery store just up the stairs out the front door and two blocks over. It felt very safe behind a locked lobby as well. The main bedroom had an amazing window reading nook that I spent all my time in when we were resting or getting ready each day. The...

"Clean and modern hotel .polite and friendly staff. Arrived back late after concert coffee machine was getting cleaned staff apologised as it would take 10 min . gave us a token for free coffee for inconvenience. With in walking distance to Haymarket train station, tram and bus stops to take you into City center. Plenty of cafes and restaurants in sounding area. "

Great location, nice place, but no view fr room

"Great location, just a 5 min walk from the metro - and theres actually a sneaky way that makes it even closer that we didnt know about til we left - they have an elevator that goes down below the bridge where theres no foot traffic making walking w/luggage a breeze and goes straight to the train station. They had a full restaurant and offered an AYCE order off the menu breakfast at a very reasonable price - 18 euros a person i think? Comfortable bed, nice soaking tub. Tub and shower are separate so you can enjoy a Japanese style bath if you wanted. Only downside is that the room i got was a "city view" and our view was just a brick walk. We joked about how bc the room came with photographs of the city on their walls that that was made it "city view" lol. However, we don’t travel to just look out the window of our hotel. We wanna get out there! I'd just say dont bother paying more for a room that claims to have a view. I'm sure some do but you may not be so lucky. Again, location was great. Not only dist to metro but to the heart of Edinburgh- minutes from Calton Hill w/a great view of the city and all the shops/restaurants/castle."
