"We spent a week in Carlo's aeolian house. We enjoyed our stay very much. The house was exactly as described: Very authentic, perfectly located with a wonderful view on the other islands and direct entry to the sea, close to Lipari city. The house was very clean and well equipped. Our local hosts, Antonello and Maria, were very charming and took care of all our needs, especially the transportation of the lugage. A wonderful place. We would have liked to stay there more time and will certainly be...

""Really lovely little flat with a fantastic roof terrace. Location is just off the harbour so near to restaurants and small beach. There could be some noise. Owners really kind and helpful, flat was clean and furniture not new but comfy . Be careful with very young children it's quite a drop and the window in the bedroom has no lock. All in all we loved it.""

"Wir haben uns in der Villa Soprana sehr wohl gefühlt. Das ganze Haus ist sehr schön, bis ins kleinste Detail super ausgestattet, absolut sauber und bietet einen wunderbaren Blick auf die Insel Vulcano. Der Garten und die Terrasse mit dem Grill waren unser liebster Aufenthaltsort. Die Gastgeberin ist freundlich, hilfsbereit und nimmt sich Zeit für alle Fragen. Herzlichen Dank!"

"Don't be fooled by the pictures. This place is not well equipped or well managed. The furniture is really old and tattered, the rooftop had a great view, but the furniture was not adequate. The entire place smelled musty and was damp. The upstairs flooring is plank wood with no insulation. It was very loud. One small stovetop coffee pot for 5 people. No microwave. Too many more to mention. We've been to Salina many times and I can assure you that there are much better places for less money."
