She greeted me with a cup of coffee and answered all my questions about the Aeolians and was there if i needed anything else. "Fantastic view of the sea and the island of Lipari from my own private terrace. Comfortable and clean room, with air conditioner to take the edge off the July heat. Very friendly service, including accomodating my early departure with an earlier than usual breakfast and even giving me a lift to the ferry terminal. I was traveling alone, but this would also be a great place to stay for a couple or a family."

The staff at the hotel especially Giuseppe could not have been more helpful including allowing us to access one of our rooms after checkout for a couple of hours while we waited for our ferry. The restaurant at the hotel is also excellent - well worth trying if you stay there."

"In ottima posizione a pochi passi dal centro di Malfa, eppure eppure "isolato", in posizione sopraelevata con vista sul mare. Le camere, ognuna come un piccolo edificio a sè stante, collegate da vialetti fioriti, climatizzate, sono larghe e con terrazzina che si affaccia sul mare. Il titolare Gianfranco è cortese, simpatico, disponibile. Una colazione un pò più varia avrebbe significato la perfezione."
