There is no "front desk," which worked out OK. There are lots of great restaurants nearby. Reaching the room did involve walking up 2 flights of steep stairs, which could be a deterrent for some."

"I wasn’t expecting much from an older motel in small town. I was so wrong!!! This old retro motel is so cute! The rooms aren’t big and the breakfast isn’t much, but the whole place has been very well decorated in an retro style including an Adirondack chairs at each door, a nice outdoor grilling area and clean playground. Even the drive thru check in was easy, easy, easy. After checking in, head down to the Riverwalk on F Street. Wonderful stores including Ruby Blues - a secondhand, thrift store. "
