The Salida Opera House Loft

Come experience part of Downtown Salida History! This NEW condo is part of the historical Unique Theater renovation and filled with all the amenities that living in the heart of downtown Salida offers- walking distance to theaters, restaurants, art galleries, and the Arkansas River walk. The Main Level is open and spacious with a Queen Bedroom, large office/den (Murphy Queen Bed) and a full custom tiled bathroom. Second Floor has a Master Suite, with walk in in closet and and loft area with a futon for additional sleeping space.

High-end finishes include- soaring 12+ ft ceilings, hardwood floors, floor to ceiling windows and gas fireplace with rustic wood mantel. Kitchen is sleek with solid surface counters and stainless appliances- filled with all the tools you will need to prepare a meal for your friends and family! The outdoor space is a private 479 square foot deck with a fire pit, picnic table, grill and plenty of seating. Perfect for enjoying the beautiful Salida evenings!

The property was amazing! There was plenty of room for 4 of us and the location couldn’t have been better! Shops and restaurants were all a short walk away! The views from the deck were beautiful! The host was very friendly, super quick to respond to questions, and even let us change our booking at the last minute due to a snow storm! We plan to book this loft again soon!

We took our 8 y/o grandson and great-niece to Salida for a few days of WW rafting etc. This was the perfect place to stay, centrally located, close to everything including groceries, so no car unless we wanted to. And the loft! It was stunning just as shown on the website. The kids called it “super gourmet”! 😉 Beds were SO comfy and I loved having the washer/dryer. The hosts were very responsive and helpful as well. A perfect stay!

We had an amazing time in Salida staying in this cool, modern condo. We loved being in the action downtown. We shopped, dined and spent lots of time at the riverside park. Our teenager enjoyed the fun selection of Nintendo games and we enjoyed coffee on the rooftop patio every morning. Kaylee is an excellent host and has stocked the condo with everything you will need. This was one of our top VRBO experiences ever!

We were in town for a wedding and the location of this property could not have been better! We were able to walk to every event! During our downtime, we has easy access to Salidas main street and the river. Having the private parking space was a huge plus too with all of the crowds downtown. Kaylee was a great host and was able to quickly answer any questions we had! We will be staying here again (hopefully sooner than later!)

This rental and location exceeded our expectations!! Quality & comfort. Close proximity to river with many fun activities for our family. Excellent eating places, parks and other conveniences very close. Our family thoroughly enjoyed this property and town. Our host was an excellent communicator and very easy to work with. My wife and I love downtown Salida, and this property was wonderful. The location was perfect, the property was clean and well-kept, and Kaylee, the owner, was responsive and helpful. The highlight for us was the view from the deck, which has comfortable chairs and a large umbrella for shade. The view of the Salida ‘S’ from the living room rounded out the experience. All in all 5-star.

We traveled from PA to CO for a family wedding. We chose this property because of its unique history and the downtown location. This property far exceeded my expectations! It was very clean and well appointed. The owner reached out to me upon arrival to make sure we had what we needed. What a great place to watch the Fourth of July fireworks! I can truly say I didn’t want to go home. This home was truly my home away from home! Thank you Kim!
