Salem is a quaint little town. Lots to see and do. I would have liked to stay longer but we were attending a class and visiting family. Shops looked like they would be fun and interesting. Great food at the local restaurants.

Excellent
A woman backed into our vehicle in the grocery parking lot in Salem and we had to interact with the local police. It was refreshing to interact with a police department that was still very cordial and professional. Still had that small town feeling

Loved the Olde Salem Brewing Company, with delivery from Frank's Pizza.
"Very clean, comfortable and inviting. All staff were friendly and accommodating. Outdoor pool and courtyard were very private you would never know that the hotel backed up to a hospital. "

"Marlie was kind enough to let us check in early. All staff were gracious and thoughtful. Manager was visible and involved with check in. Walk through the campus to Blacksburg (25-30 min) or take a short 5 min drive to the main street. You can tell the building has been around a while, but it is well maintained and full of character. I would stay here again!"
