Porolissum was an ancient Roman city in Dacia. Established as a military camp in 106 during Trajan's Dacian Wars, the city quickly grew through trade with the native Dacians and became the capital of the province Dacia Porolissensis in 124. The site is one of the largest and best-preserved archaeological sites in modern-day Romania. It is 8 km away from the modern city of Zalău, in Jac village, Creaca Commune, Sălaj County.

"Very pleasant stay, gorgeous property in a quiet part of the city. Great bus link to the airport and a quick walk into the city centre. The host Adrian was very friendly and gave expert advice on what to see and do in Cluj. I highly recommend Hotel Escala for business or pleasure!"

"We had a very comfortable stay at Radisson Cluj. The room was clean and well equipped, and we loved the underground parking option. The staff at the reception desk were super friendly and professional. The bar in the lobby was super cool and we got some nice cocktails recommended by the bartender. The only observation was that the shampoo and shower gel were the same liquid, although advertised as different and in different bottles. "

"Staff were wonderful. The facility is sparking clean and what I would call “Balkan glitz”. The parking was easy, the room was medium size (perfect) and totally comfortable, beds weee good. The restaurant is the 2nd star of the show (staff first): amazing dinner and great service. The breakfast was unreal, we are still talking about it a week later. Great option for people driving, seemed far from “town”. "
