"The location is just perfect. Right on the beach, walking distance to town, next to taxi stand. The pool is lovely. The villa is great - every room faces the beach and bedrooms all have air conditioning.The kitchen could use updating but still works fine. All in all we enjoyed our stay very much."

"Tucked on a hillside overlooking Ixtapa, the villas are a peaceful spot to settle in to after your day at the beach. Most days started with the 4.5 km walk in to the main market area near the resorts , along a biking/walking pathway between Ixtapa and Zihuatanejo. Cab rides home at nite typically cost 120 pesos , Rooms are spacious and beds were comfy king size. Owner and staff were quick to respond to any requests , including laundry if you’re staying longer."

"My wife and I are regulars to Troncones. We decided to spend two nights at this more "remote" location just to see if we would want to return with a larger group, since there are six bedrooms. The common areas are larger than the photos make them appear. The beach is lovely, and quieter than other Troncones beaches, which is saying something.
