"9.5/10 - perfect place that is outside of the city's hustle and bustle but close to one of the oldest temples in Japan. You can easily access the train and Nakamise - dori street. I did the shared room but they have private room options. Linens were white and very clean spaces. "

"I stayed here for a week in February and I would likely stay here again - just knowing that the breakfast that is supposed to be included is a stack of Starbucks cards, $1,000 yen for each night you're staying. The shared dorm featured guests of all ages, not just the college/party aged crowd, and there was a mix of foreign tourists as well as locals in the 6-bunk landing where my top bunk was. Laundry worked well - make sure to bring your own detergent, there is none available in the laundry...

"Me and my friend stayed there for a night, for a 2000 yen price per person at that time. We are going to a convention called Anime Japan 2019 for 2 days, so we decided to stay in a cheap place, and we found this place via Hotel.com. A very standard hostel like hotel, very clean, very new looking furniture, and very techy. They got an app where you can see the availablity of the toilet and shower, from all floor, thus a very super convenient, from my opinion. There are no separation for men and...

"Location just behind Senshogi temple. You enter in the street level where ther is a 6 to 9 p.m. optional meal served by excellent Chef, who is trained in gormet cuisine , michilen style. 500 yen. Delish, for me a plus, a very good vibe. There is an elevator and I was on mixed dorm maybe 8 beds. There were no just female non mixed. The top floor has awesome view of city and tables. And full kitchen to make a meal. Best experience for Japan, and I also went to another temple in the...

"Overall we had a bad experience. The way the hostel is set up, people staying in the private rooms had to travel through the space where the individual were located. The space itself was very small so you could hear EVERYTHING very clearly. There was a family staying in the private room with a small child so whenever they left their room to go to the bathroom the child would scream and shout. I recognize that this was not the hostels fault but perhaps they should have warned the family to be...
