First room was noisy as it was on the main road but the window didn't seem to close properly or offer sufficient sound proofing. "

"We were in transit to go to Kyushu the next day very early in the morning. We checked into this place late at night. We shared one room with four people. So basically we slept on futon Matts. But it was clean n no issues except shared bathroom required some waiting time. Other than that we were comfortable. "

"Location was convenient and close to transportation, shopping and food. Lack of elevator made it hard to move heavy luggage up multiple flights of stairs. The dish sponge in our room had hair on it and we saw a cockroach in our room the first night. "

"We were first greeted by Miao the cat at the front desk, and had a lovely stay. The room was clean and comfortable and had its own sink with hot water. Our floor had a kitchen and the building had an elevator. Sometimes Miao came up the elevator with me and sat in the kitchen. I highly recommend this hotel!"

"Wonderful place to stay in Nara, a beautiful traditional Japanese house, quiet, nice neighborhood, about 10-15 minutes walk to shopping and restaurant area, but we don’t mind the walk through the peaceful and beautiful alleys. "

No hook in bathroom to hang up towels or bathrobe. Instructions as to how to operate the hot water system and washer would be helpful. Construction nearby so kind of noisy in the morning."
