"We loved our time here at the Effala suite. It was located right in the middle of the heart of Colmar so lots to see and do outside but there was a nice quiet courtyard inside the gate when you wanted to get away from the crowds. I picked this place for the views out the windows and that did not disappoint. We stayed there early May, so it wasn’t too hot without air conditioning, but may be a factor at other times of year. We had a very pleasant stay and would definitely stay here again....

Je regrette que l appartement soit vétuste sur bebeaucoup de points ( prises de courant qui fonctionnent que si la lumière est allumée, aspirateur en kit, tuyau de douche qui fuit, patère qui s est decrochée dès qu on y a mis une serviette...). Dommage car l ensemble avait l air sympa."

"Very well equipped and very clean apartment. Set on hillside within walking distance (10 minutes) from town. Steep on way back but you could use car, we are in our 70’s and not a problem. Great outdoor space, with barbecue, table and chairs, loungers and, of course the view. Jean- Pierre speaks very good English and lives above the apartment. He is very helpful but not intrusive. "On the 3rd floor so up to lst floor for entry then 18 steps to the rooftop apartment. Very well stocked wuth glassware, crockery and utensils plus soap and flannels. Nice that Madame left a bottle of wine and gave us a typical Alsace cake😀. Great view of maize fields and the next village but no English language TV channel and the bed we both found hard. A light rug would have been appreciated as too hot for duvet on the bed but too cold at night for just a sheet. Spare kitchen tidy bags would...

"The apartment was well located to the town and easy to find. Very comfortable accommodation with full kitchen and all amenities. Danielle was friendly and gave plenty of advice. Parking in the courtyard was possible, a little bit tight for space. Highly recommended!"
