"We spent over a week in the house and could really relax. The house was quiet, clean and we had everything we needed (kitchen, washing machine etc.). We spent most of our time at the pool. The location is not directly by the sea but you are completely alone and undisturbed. You can be by the sea or at a large supermarket in five minutes. The owner Marc was very helpful and easy going. It was definitely our best accommodation on our trip through Corsica."

However, our primary reason for renting this particular house was that it was only 400 meters walking distance to the beach (clearly stated in the advert on vrbo.com). "The exterior of the property and remarkable location with fabulous views is tremendous. The unique design of the pool working around the granite boulders is great. The house was very close to a house we owned until 7 years ago, so it worked very well for us, being familiar with the area. The only real let-down is the largely non-existent kitchen. It has all the equipment but no storage space. Otherwise the bedrooms were OK, the aircon worked well and the upstairs viewing platform was perfect....
