"We had a wonderful and lovely week in Bernieres sur mer. Isabelle and Guillaume were perfect hosts and their chalet was beautiful and very comfortable. Also, it had all the facilities we required. The use of bikes was an added bonus👌 Thank you. The location was very quiet and near to the beach where we enjoyed many strolls and bike rides along the promenade stopping for lunch/dinner/coffee/icecream etc - superb. It was a great central location to explore all the Normandy towns and WWII sites....

"The gite itself is excellent. Had everything you could need. Very close to main shops 5 min drive away. The mattresses on the two double beds were very hard but realise this is a personnel choice. Would definitely recommend this gite."

"As a group of 4 adults, we stayed in the property for 4 nights - used it as a base to visit the many sites and museums dedicated to WW2. We really enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend. The only downsides were the lack of wardrobe hanging space and the need to take extra care on the steep, twisting staircase. Hopefully we will return. Thank you."

My dream came true to visit Normandy and the Beach my dad landed on in WWII>Omaha Beach The property was a serendipity experience for us as we used it as a base to explore. We rented a car from Bayeux so we had transport, the house had everything we needed for our 14 day stay and any problem(dryer issue) was immediately addressed. Our host was very accessible and responded immediately to any question I had. The only suggestion I would offer is the operation of...

"Die in eine Ferienwohnung umgebaute Scheune ist zweckmäßig, einfach ausgestattet und sauber. Es ist alles da, was man braucht. Für 4 Personen allerdings sehr beengt, für 2 Personen absolut ok. Jedoch ist die Treppe zu den 2 Schlafräumen sehr schmal und steil. Für normal große Menschen und isb. mit Gehbehinderung ein Unding. Der Vermieter war sehr freundlich und hilfsbereit."

"Nous sommes déçus de l’accueil très froid. Le chauffage ne fonctionnait pas en bas alors qu’il ne faisait pas chaud dehors . Et nous avons dû appeler avant la propriétaire pour le mettre en route qui a mal pris notre demande . Le forfait ménage nous a été imposé. L’extérieur n’est pas entretenu . Bref nous en gardons un souvenir négatif. Dommage car la région est belle."
