Superb base camp for visiting the D-Day beaches, monuments, and within driving distance of Mont St Michel. Relaxing trip!"

"The apartment was spotless and very comfortable Geraldine was there to greet us and was always very responsive when we messaged her with a query. The view was spectacular. Restaurants, boulangerie and supermarket a very short walk. The only drawback were the very narrow stairs to get to our top apartment. Overall , we enjoyed our three days in a very beautiful fishing village in a beautiful part of France. Thank you Geraldine"

"This apartment in a wonderful location could be a real winner. Sadly, it is neglected, quite dirty and in desperate need of an update. Broken furniture, broken fixtures and most of all,..... a 3rd floor residence with no fire escape and a smoke alarm that DOES NOT WORK...!!!! No excuse... get a new battery..! Such a pity as this location is really special. Communication prior to arrival was good, but payment details were disasterous... the host does not use VRBO for payment... just one more...

"Communication was a bit of a problem as I don’t speak French and never received an actual address. A bit of a smell when we arrived and a few bugs in the unit. However, we loved the backyard garden area and spent the entire evening back there. Also to note, no hand or dish drying towels in the kitchen or downstairs bathroom. There is no dishwasher here."

We saved for years to be able to travel and honor loved ones who fought on these beaches and she was rude, judgmental, and condescending. "This was the best decision to stay here! Beautiful property right on Gold Beach, in a town that feels like you are back in time. Walk out to the mulberry harbors at low tide and experience the real French countryside. An adorable town with good food, a beautiful property with views that we will never forget. The property manager was so helpful - we had one issue in the translation of the property info on vrbo. It said bed sheets were provided, but only the bed sheets for the bed are provided...

"The location couldn't have been better! Everything was as advertised - especially the view! Geraldine met us at the apartment and showed us how everything worked. She even had English language literature for nearby sights and local food and beverages for us to try. It was the perfect location for visiting the WW2 beaches, the Bayeux Tapestry and Mont St Michel. The market on Sunday and the daily fish market were amazing. Great restaurants and shops are all just a few steps away. You can relax...

"The sea view is a big plus for this property, always changing, never boring, and very close. The property has a spacious living room, 1 spacious and 2 smaller bedrooms. The kitchen is complete but small. The location is very quiet, on the outskirts of Grandcamps-Maisy. Good location for Utah, Omaha and Gold beaches. The host was attentive and the instructions were clear."
