"Charming French provincial stone house with big garden - only problem was that check-in normally starts at 4.30pm but the owner very kindly opened up the premises for us at 3.00pm and so we had time to walk to the nearby town of Touros - a mediaeval gem in the heart of Burgundy. "Only stayed the one night in the room called “Cosy”. Don’t worry, it isn’t small! The character property has been renovated to a very high spec. All very clean and tastefully decorated. Our host was lovely. The place is tucked away in the town centre and a short walk from all the beautiful place has to offer. We’ll stay longer next time."

"This is a lovely guesthouse with a difference. Owned by a Dutch couple, I was welcomed by them and their huge dog. The room was clean and pleasant, an older-fashioned rustic country style that I'd expect in a Burgundian village but all well-appointed. The distinctive features of my stay (just one night on a business trip) was the communal dinner offered with Wouter and Lotte (hosts) cooking a massive barbecue and entertaining us around the table.
