Only reason for 4 instead of 5 stars is a lot of ants would appear in the bathroom every time I took a shower, I had told the staff about it during the first night and whilst they gave me an insect spray and cleaned the dead ants in the morning the problem persisted. Otherwise a fabulous hotel. "

"This is a very nice hotel.
The rooms are tasteful and well laid out.
The staff are very accommodating and friendly.
We only had breakfast one day but it is very good. Hot and cold options allow you to have anything from a pastries and jams to fruit, yoghurt, to cheeses, charcuterie, scrambled eggs, bacon and sausages.
The rooftop terrace has great views of the port, but it can get windy.
The pool is gorgeous but small and there are only six sun loungers, which can get competitive.
It is well situated, just a short walk from the main parts of town and most of the good restaurants.
If we visit Les Sables-d'Olonne again, we will definitely stay at Hotel Vertime again."
