"Room was possibly slightly too hot, couldn't work out control for the air conditioning, probably more my mistake due to being absolutely shattered. Staff were extremely polite and helpful, good selection of breakfast. Well located for an overnight stop if leaving England the evening before a long trip."

"Lovely and clean hotel. Our room was very cozy ( small) but comfortable. Staff were friendly & helpful. Free parking behind or on street near hotel. We were staying at the hotel to go to near by war memorials so we did not use the spa. We had the express breakfast which was 10 euros & it was okay."

"A warm welcome , a good meal , a relaxing bath , a comfortable bed and a quiet location, what more can you ask for. have stayed at this hotel many times in the past, and have always been made very welcome . It’s not the most chic hotel in the world, but definitely has the important features sorted. The restaurant menu is simple but good and reasonably priced. The breakfast is good value and varied. The staff are lovely, helpful and friendly and a credit to the hotel. A special mention must be given to Gregory on reception in the evening, who went above and beyond . stay in many places in Europe and this is one of my absolute favourites, it’s not top end , but it’s not pretentious either, it’s friendly and comfortable and I an always able to relax when I stay here "

"Stayed here overnight as we had tickets for the RC Lens football match. The hotel couldn't be better placed for the stadium. Literally across the stadium car park - which for myself with limited mobility was perfect. Though as a side note, the stadium seating is very steep, and was very difficult for me. Back to the hotel, it's quite big, has a large bar used by the football fans - though not noisy. The staff were friendly & helpful. The room was quite small, but clean & tidy. It's only a short walk from the railway station - or 1 stop on the bus."

"I give this hotel 5 stars. It's not a 5-star hotel in the official hotel rating system. Not really. But it's a great place to stay on your way to somewhere else. I enjoyed it and I will be back. Everything was there to make your stay comfortable. The check-in was easy and quick. The staff was friendly. The rooms were clean, functional, with enough space not to feel crowded. The breakfast was nice (continental). It's kid-friendly. Plenty of food options a short walk away. A lovely place overall."
