Great location

The house was really easy to find and is in a great location, within easy distance of three Boulangeries and supermarkets and also a short walk to the harbour. Being winter, we didn't make much use of the garden (which Im sure is lovely in summer) and the conservatory was cold so we didn't use it. The house was warm which was great, and the fire works but we did have to buy our own wood. The toilet upstairs is very small and various members found they could not use it at all as they did not fit in the space (tall members of the family)!The living room could be improved by providing some comfortable seating. The cutlery was old and well used. The main issue we had was the faulty shower. We received a note upon arrival that the overhead shower had broken and that parts were needed to repair it. The owners said they would come to fix it during the week but this did not happen. We used the shower attachment however this squirted a jet of water straight at you and was difficult to manage. We were told after booking that we had to pay for sheets (45 Euros) and could opt to pay a cleaning fee of 50 Euros. This information was not available prior to booking. It would have improved transparency to know this in advance as it may have affected my decision to book the property. I was under the impression that bedding was included and it was only after booking that charges were applied. Despite the lovely location, I would not book this property again.

Accueil trÚs chaleureux et maison spacieuse avec un beau jardin sans parler de la véranda qui est une piÚce conviviale et lumineuse. Nous la recommandons chaudement car en plus la région est splendide et les habitants spécialement cordiaux ! Merci

Normandie visit

The property is well located in St Vaast La Hougue. Older property that is well loved. Gorgeous backyard and garden that is inviting to stay and relax. Walk into town to a fantastic bakery, restaurants and shops. We really enjoyed out stay there. Jaques and Marie are wonderfully responsive hosts.

Ein schöner Urlaub in der Normandie

Wir hatten zusammen mit unserer HĂŒndin, Mia, einen schönen Urlaub. Das Ferienhaus war wie in der Beschreibung. 3 nette Schlafzimmer, Bad, 2 Toiletten, Koch und Wohnbereich, netter Wintergarten und ein sehr schöner Garten. Alle ElektrogerĂ€te waren neu und sehr sauber. Die Einrichtung ist so, wie wir sie auch aus anderen FerienhĂ€usern kennen. Das Meer, der Hafen und Einkaufsmöglichkeiten sind gut zu Fuß erreichbar.

Emplacement calme et proche du centre

Super emplacement proche a la foi des grandes surfaces et des commerces du centre ville. La maison etait parfaite comme indiquée dans l annonce , et le jardin est magnifique, bien clÎturé, ce qui est le top pour quand on a des chiens. Vivement les prochaines vacances.

Haus mit wunderschönem garten

de bonnes surprises

Nous avons beaucoup apprécié l'entrée fermée (notre chien ne pouvait pas échapper sur la route) l'espace repas, la veranda -grand espace de détente et le jardin clos que notre chien a tout particuliÚrement apprécié. Le seul bémol dû à notre ùge et notre manque de souplesse, les lits sont un peu bas. Séjour trÚs agréable.

Schönes Ferienhaus in St. Vaast

Liebevoll eingerichtetes Haus mit schönen Wintergarten und Garten. Die Betten waren bequem, schönes Bad, 2 separate Toiletten, KĂŒche sehr gut ausgestattet. Bequemere Sitzmöglichkeiten im Wohn-Ess-Bereich wĂŒrden bei schlechtem Wetter den Komfort erhöhen. Die Kommunikation mit dem Gastgeber war sehr nett und aufgrund unseren begrenzten Französisch-Kenntnisse prima auf Englisch möglich. St. Vaast ist ein guter Ausgangspunkt um das nördliche Cotentin zuerobern. Wir haben uns wohlgefĂŒhlt und wĂŒrden jederzeit wiederkommen.

Belle véranda

Jolie maison, bien situĂ©e, jardin et vĂ©randa trĂšs agrĂ©ables, Mais!!! Équipement, en particulier de la cuisine Ă  revoir : un four de ce siĂšcle serait apprĂ©ciable, pas d'Ă©conome, pas de couteau Ă  viande, plaques vitrocĂ©ramiques chauffent mal.. Le mĂ©nage laisse Ă  dĂ©sirer : moutons de poussiĂšre partout, les fauteuils extĂ©rieurs ne sont pas nettoyĂ©s au prĂ©texte que les oiseaux vont les salir en qlq jours, dommage, ce serait sympa en arrivant...

Ein nettes HĂ€uschen mit hĂŒbschem Garten

Das HĂ€uschen ist nett. Mobiliar und vor allem die KĂŒchenausstattung sind zum Teil ziemlich in die Jahre gekommen. Die Sitzmöbel am Kamin sind klein, man kann sich bei kaltem Wetter nicht gemĂŒtlich aufhalten. DafĂŒr sind Wintergarten und Garten schön!

Maison charmante, superbe véranda et jardin style tropical. Idéalement située, proche du centre-ville, environnement calme. Les propriétaires sont trÚs accueillants. Nous avons passé une trÚs bonne semaine. Et nous reviendrons.

Excellent séjour en famille!

La maison correspond parfaitement à l'annonce, elle est trÚs fonctionnelle et trÚs bien équipée, située à proximité du centre et du port de Saint Vaast et, cerise sur le gùteau, a un jardin clos trÚs agréable qui a fait le bonheur de la famille et des toutous, malgré la pluie!

 il est indiquĂ© 3 sdbains, alors qu’il n’y en a qu’une . Il est indiquĂ© que le linge de maison Ă©tait fourni, il faut comprendre qu’il n’est pas fourni
que l’on a pas eu droit Ă  notre arrivĂ©e Ă  des couvertures ou des couettes , et que les couvres lits Ă©taient considĂ©rĂ©s comme suffisants
 mais devant notre dĂ©sappointement les propriĂ©taires ont bien rĂ©agi
 en nous les fournissant le surlendemain . A part cela le gĂźte est meublĂ© avec goĂ»t et Ă©quipĂ© de joli meubles
 et la vĂ©randa, qui pourrait ĂȘtre chauffĂ©e est trĂšs belle

Schönes kleines Haus

Fast alles, was man im Urlaub braucht, war vorhanden. Wir waren im kĂŒhlen Oktober dort, so war der Wintergarten nicht nutzbar. Holz fĂŒr den Kamin haben wir im Supermarkt gekauft. Ansonsten ein toller Urlaub mit vielen Ausflugszielen in der NĂ€he.

Comme chez soi

Propriété ben agréable à habiter avec un jardin et une véranda trÚs agréables, le tout remarquablement bien entretenu. Nul doute que si nous retournons dans la région nous demanderions à l'habiter de nouveau ou à la recommander à des amis. Mercu aussi au propriétaire pour son accueil.
