"The rooms are very basic, but that’s not unusual considering the location. The shower will not accommodate a large person. It is very quiet at night as most visitors leave the area. Cleanliness in the bathroom could have been improved upon. A guest with mobility issues might find navigating the property a challenge. Since it is a unique experience to stay in Mont Saint-Michel, however, we found it to be worthwhile and enjoyable to stay at La Confiance."

"Perfect place to stay when visiting Mont Saint Michel - a perfectly unobstructed view of the Mont, with fast and easy shuttle service, comfortable, clean room with a bar and restaurant on site. All we could ask for!"

"Paid a twin room, but received a double bed on the check in day instead. The receptionist said housekeeping were home for the day and they could not fix it, even though their system noted it was a twin. Was told to deal with the double or have the couch set up. Turns out, all they had to do was unzip the mattress and remake the beds. It kind of felt like they didn't want to make the effort to fix the situation at first."

"Staying just next to such a historic place was special in itself, for the location alone, it’s a 10/10 for me. Of course, this is not a luxury hotel from a large international chain, but for one night it was absolutely fine, comfortable enough, and exactly what I needed. The only real downside was finding something to eat late in the evening. Around 10:00 p.m., the kitchens in the area were already closed, and even with several hotels and bars nearby, there was nowhere to order food. Overall, I was happy with my stay, especially because of the incredible location."
