The on-site restaurant was closed over the weekend, which was unexpected and I would have like to have been informed about this before booking, but it was easy enough to order food on Uber Eats. So if was fine. "

"My wife and I needed a one night stay and meals during a road trip through France. It was a last minute booking. It was very clean and the family staff obviously work hard to offer a good experience. The food is traditional French, not fancy but excellent."

"Its a really neat/cool place to stay for a night. The chateau is a little run down (as expected as its construction started in 1231), but that adds to its charm. The hotel room was beautiful and clean. The only issue was pink/orange mould on the bottom of the shower curtain. We also had the best meal on our Southern France trip at a nearby restaurant (Authentique restaurant)."
