Bedding needs and towels were not provided as part of the rental and we had to pay an extra fee of 50 euro for sheets, pillow case and towels. "A nice place with a very friendly owner and some cute chickens. Some sound from the dual carriageway, but when the door is closed it's very peaceful. Ideal for exploring the town and villages in this part of Normandy."

"If you are looking for pure relaxation, this is the place to come! The site is beautiful with good facilities. The local town is charming with supermarkets nearby and a great selection of restaurants. There are some interesting places to visit within half an hour as well as about an hou's drive away. Great information on sights provided at the gite andthe hosts wete very responsive and hospitable - totally recommended!"

"Maddie (the owner)was there if required and very helpful. Well equipped and quiet place to stay. If you have children there is a vast amount od toys and a toy shed. There are chickens at the end of the garden and love to be fed any scraps you have left. The garden is well kept and very pleasant. I give it 5 stars."

"Beautiful property and grounds with lots of sunny spots and shady spots. The pool was beautiful too. We did a couple of day trips out but mostly just chilled out and made use of the pool and table tennis. There was also a tennis court with basket ball hoop but we didn’t use it. Good local supermarkets and we tried the local pizzeria and bakeries - all excellent."

"The location is on the edge of a quiet village and with only subtle sounds of frogs from the pond and whinnies from the horse it was bliss. This was our 2nd stay and would love to come back again. Transport is required to access local shops but the ride out is so lovely it isnt a worry. We stayed for the 80th anniversary of D-Day and found it a good base to stay for the events.
