"The accommodation was very spacious and very well presented. Large recently renovated kitchen with thought given to every guest requirements. Bed so comfortable, best night sleep we have had. Garden looking over sunflower field and grape vines behind the property, very private with garden furniture provided to enjoy the fabulous views. "We thoroughly recommend La Taillade, having just spent a most enjoyable fortnight there. The house is very handsome, offering complete rural privacy at the end of a driveway through sunflower fields. The views beyond the house over the valley below are gorgeous. "Enjoyed our few weeks here in May/June. Lovely quiet setting. Pool was a godsend in warm weather! House nice and cool inside for our two dogs."

"Sadly the pool was is need of substantial repair. The cracked slabs and crumbling cement around the pool was dangerous for bare feet and attracted wasps to nest. Not ideal for young children and babies. There was a constant bad smell in the kitchen due to drainage problems in the area of the sink. The setting is idyllic and very peaceful in amongst the forest but we got bitten alive with all the woodland mosquitoes."
