"Nous avons été très bien reçu dans cet hôtel, belle expérience, le personnel était très agréable et aux petits soins pour nous, très bonne expérience au restaurant gastronomique, après un petit impair dans notre chambre, le directeur de l’hôtel nous a surclassé dans une suite et a rendu notre séjour agréable et inoubliable. Encore un grand merci."

"We were especially grateful for the unusually welcoming staff, especially Nicky, who was truly adorable, and for our room which was truly private, with a great bed, a lovely view of citrus trees and the tree-covered hill behind the hotel, and also had a really great bathroom. It was easy to walk into town, and although we didn't actually swim in it, the pool was beautiful and quiet. It was a really lovely place to start our vacation, and to learn, partly from the staff and partly from the lovely...

"The property was absolutely beautiful. We arrived and immediately felt relaxed. Great pool, even in October. Breakfast felt a little expensive but it was lovely to sit outside on the terrace and eat together and eat the fresh, home made produce. No free bottle of wine was given (despite it being part of the booking through Expedia). Would love to stay again and try their evening menu as it looked delicious. A seven minute walk into the town - a perfect location. A taxi to Nice was around €28...

"Outstanding!!!! And gorgeous"

"There was nothing not to like at Maison aux Bonsaïs. From the provision of items for breakfast and some lovely wines… to the gorgeous apartment that’s filled with a lifetime of treasures… we felt like our every need had been anticipated and catered for. Staying here has been the highlight of our European holiday. Thank you Luc and Michael!"

"Very nice atmosphere, kind staff and wonderful breakfast"

"The room that we had had just a doona cover no doona in it. The pillows were very substandard did not enjoy our stay there although their host is very friendly and the breakfast was very good. The room to us was not clean very few utensils even though had supposedly had a Kitchen. 1 plate 1 cup until we got some ourselves. Would not recommend"

"We had a very warm welcome from the host. The hotel doesn’t look anything special from the road, but the rear of the property had lovely gardens and pool with fabulous views over the surrounding countryside and the room, although compact was extremely well equipped, perfectly designed and comfortable. Attention to detail was excellent. We only stayed one night and at the host’s suggestion we visited the beautiful village of St Paul de Vence, which was only 5 minutes away. The breakfast was...

"Great place to stay, difficult access with vehicle The owner tried to charge more for my wife, as i accidentally clicked 1 person on Expedia .............. You book the room on Expedia Just saying............"

"Charming place built into the rock hill; the most gracious, friendly accommodating hoteliers I’ve ever met. Gerard, Marion and Willie, thank you. Wish I could have stayed longer."

"The staff were lovely and the position of this hotel right in town is simply exceptional. I was unaware that renovations were taking place so it was a little loud at times during the day. Night time noises from other rooms were also quite loud, however this may be remedied during the renovations. The bed was firm; not much flex or spring and the pillows were okay. The AC worked well as did the double glazed windows to keep out street noise. We parked in Marie Antoinette parking station. just...
