"What a gem of a place, not easy to find but once you do it’s great with the perfect host Only one issue was the bath not holding the water which is an easy fix other than that I’d recommend the place without hesitation "

"Nice location and quiet surroundings. I arrived around 4.30pm to find no one around and had yet to receive my email with lock key code, I know arrival was stated 5pm but I would expect to receive the code day before. Message arrived shortly after and I was then able to know which lodge and code. Spacious and immaculately clean, equipped for short self catering stay as necessary. "It was a historic setting in beautiful countryside though the old Chateau was very old and we were put in a musty room with no air circulation. The host was very inhospitable constantly arguing he didn't hear about Vrbo and demanded we pay him in cash even when I showed him Vrbo had withdrawn the money from my credit card account. We left after the first night with him chasing after us trying to force us to go to Daon instead of Chateau Gontier where we were to attend a wedding. "
