"Frank and his wife are creating a peaceful beautiful B&B. The breakfast consists of homemade yogurt and preserves along with fresh croissants and/or baguette with fruit. "The Maison de Tari is a perfect place to stay for families looking to explore the area around Sarlat. We stayed in a family room with three small children and it suited us perfectly. All rooms had a separate outside sitting area with a large table. It had a good sized pool, a separate communal cooking and dining area, including a gas BBQ and a fridge. A great continental breakfast was provided that included fresh pastries from the local bakery, and a selection of local jams, cheeses and meats....

"This is a quirky and charming little property. We loved it. We had a two story room with large window and beautiful view of the cathedral from our bedroom. "We have had a disappointing experience with this vacation rental. All four of us have suffered from bed bugs. We initially thought we were dealing with mosquitoes. But the bites got so big and painful that it wasn't until later that we realized we were dealing with bed bugs. We complained about this to the landlord afterwards and it seemed only reasonable to us that they would refund half as our holiday enjoyment was seriously ruined. We have not received any response from the landlords."

"Wonderfully situated within the Dordogne valley with lots of chateaux and other tourist attractions to visit. The only downside of this hotel was the same menu every evening. They usually change it once a month! Also, no assistance to gain access to their wonderful swimming pools as there were no steps to get in our out. This was commented upon when leaving and they assured us this would be brought to the attention of the management. I sincerely hope so as I was not the only one to require help to get lowered in and hauled back out!"
