The full house is not together but in 2 different section bit detached to each other. This means that everyone cannot stay together in the same house, which was not expected by us and was not even clear in the description of the property.2. The property is in middle of nowhere. "We had a fantastic relaxing stay during August. The gite is beautiful and very well equipped, even fans available for those hot nights. Hosts were very friendly and attentive to our requirements if asked. Overall i would highly recommend this gite."

"Absolutely charming gite in a peaceful location that had everything we needed to relax for 4 days. The owners added extra touches with fresh bread, homemade soup and cake they had made with fresh produce from their garden. The children loved it and said they felt like they were in a treehouse!!! Lovely pool and seating area although it was a bit cold for us to enjoy it yet!!"

The property feels remote but is actually within really easy distance of the pleasant village of St Pardoux la Riviere which has a couple of restaurants and a well stocked supermarket. Lots to see and do in the surrounding areas and we could easily have spent longer in this part of Perigord."

"We thoroughly enjoyed our two weeks in the cottage. It is in beautiful surroundings and we loved watching the sun set from our terrace in the evening. It is within 10 minutes walking distance through a shady lane to the centre of the village and there is also a small supermarket and petrol station within 3 minutes drive. "We stayed for three weeks at the converted stable, it was simply beautiful but also very functional, well equipped and everything worked well. Comfortable bed, lovely sofas. Garden is lovely with various private spaces to sit. Village is small but does have a bar/tabac and bakers. Small Friday market with local produce. Lots to see within an hours drive. Gerda, our host was super, she helped us and gave great information on places to go and see. We had an amazing time and big thanks to Gerda!!"
