"This old building has been converted to an attractive and comfortable gite, with excellent views from the garden. It's a long way up the hill so quite cool. Hard to find the right building as we did not have adequate directions. The giveaway is the owner's name on the cover for the electricity meter on the wall alongside the road. Cleaning, bedlinen and towels are extra."

"We were an extended family - grandparents,parents, children and teenagers. We travelled by train and had no car. The house is spacious - plenty of room for all. Great kitchen and dining spaces. Superb shops for all needs, especially lots of organic and local farm produce. Wonderful wild swimming and energetic walks around Mt Lozere. Easy train travel to Nimes, Villefort and surrounding villages. Couldn't recommend highly enough."

"As there are no English reviews, here's the first! We stayed here in late September and the weather was fortunately good. The house is equipped for a holiday stay (no bath towels but hand & tea towels + bath mats provided - don't know if this is a French thing). Both showers are large and powerful. There was always plenty of hot water . TV is French terrestrial but there is fast internet so we watched Netflix and Sky with no difficulty by streaming through laptop to the TV. "We stayed here during the heatwave that was crossing Europe. A little worried about this, in fact there was no need. The pool was perfect and no problem with it not being heated. The villa was wonderfully airy and you could get a great breeze running through it. We had a problem with a door at one point but our hosts got someone in to fix it immediately. You are 5 minutes from the local intermarche so getting provisions was dead easy. Was a wonderful holiday and would highly recommend"
